Chief Executive Officer
Jim Sullivan is President and CEO of NWN. With more than 30 years of enterprise technology industry experience, he has a track record of scaling both emerging and established companies for rapid global growth.
As President of Actifio from February 2011 until May 2019, Jim helped drive this copy data management software pioneer to a unicorn valuation of $1.3 billion, more than 3,500 global customers and a 50% CAGR. He co-developed the company’s strategy and led sales, presales, channels, and OEM distribution, from pre-revenue to achieving high growth, positive cash flow and global operations.
Prior to Actifio, Jim served as the President of enterprise storage technology provider XIV, responsible for the company’s business direction and go-to-market model, including sales, marketing, and global services operations. After XIV was acquired by IBM in 2008, he spent three years as Vice President of IBM Storage, generating more than $1 billion in total sales.
He spent six years as CEO of CentrePath Network, and prior to that spent 12 years helping to grow EMC Corporation from $80 million to more $10 billion in annual global sales, serving in several senior management positions culminating in Senior Vice President of Sales.
Jim served on the boards of AppIQ until its acquisition by HP in 2005, and Diligent, a deduplication software pioneer acquired by IBM. He currently serves as chairman of the board of Weka.io, maker of a software-defined file system, and is a board member of Titus Software, a Blackstone portfolio company. He is active as a member of YPO (Young Presidents’ Organization), and with his Alma Mater, Boston College.
Chief Operating Officer
Marc Herdegen is COO of NWN. Marc is responsible for driving transformation of the organization’s business processes and modernization of its operations. Marc has more than 20 years of experience in global leadership and management, product development, investment, and strategy consulting across a range of industries including investment management aerospace, and real estate. Prior to joining NWN, Marc was a Principal of Strategy and Operations for New State Capital Partners, a private investment firm that provides flexible capital solutions to leading middle market companies to support their growth via minority or majority investments.
Marc received a Bachelor of Science degree – BS in Economics from United States Military Academy at West Point, an M.A. in International Studies from St. Mary’s University, and a Master of Business Administration – MBA from Harvard Business School.

Richard E. Johnson
Chief Financial Officer
Rich Johnson is the Chief Financial Officer for NWN Corporation. Rich is responsible for NWN’s Support Services including all financial and legal matters, Order to Cash functions, Human Resources, and Information Technology. Prior to joining NWN, Rich was the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of FusionStorm, a company that designs, integrates and implements data centers. Throughout his career, Rich has held senior-level accounting finance positions at multiple organizations including Lake Region Medical, GT Advanced Technologies and Ocean Spray Cranberries. Rich received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy from Bentley University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Southern New Hampshire University. Rich is currently an adjunct professor at Southern New Hampshire University and is also a Massachusetts-licensed Certified Public Accountant.
Executive Vice President – Customer Success
Jack Lodge is Executive Vice President of Customer Success for NWN. He leads the national customer success team covering all of NWN’s locations, three data centers, 24x7x365 Network Operations Center and Service Desk, and two endpoint configuration facilities. Jack has more than 23 years of experience leading technology organizations. He has both deep and broad experience in telecom, networking, professional services, and managed services, as well as a strong history of attracting, developing and retaining high-performing teams who succeed through world-class execution. He is exceptionally adept at building culture and working across all levels of geographically dispersed organizations to align goals and objectives to the company’s mission and strategy and delivering successful outcomes.
Prior to NWN, Jack was Co-Founder of Correct Dose, an e-commerce healthcare company utilizing patented packaging technology to manufacture and distribute single-dose packaging of liquid over the counter pediatric medication. From October 2006 to September 2017 Jack held various positions within Global Capacity LLC including; President, Chief Operation Officer, and SVP, Sales Operations and helped drive the cloud-based data connectivity marketplace business from ~$50M to ~$250M in revenue.
Jack received a Bachelor of Arts degree – BA in English from College of the Holy Cross, and a Masters of Business Administration – MBA from Northeastern University.

Executive Vice President – Sales and Marketing
Scott Pintsopoulos is NWN’s Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing. A veteran leader with over 26 years of industry experience, Scott is responsible for setting the strategy, vision, and execution of NWN’s Sales, Business Development, Marketing, and Vendor Relations initiatives. Scott joined NWN in October of 2009 as the Regional VP of the Northeast Region where he led Sales, Engineering, Finance and Operations. Under his direction, the region significantly outpaced the industry growth metrics, and the team was consistently recognized as a top performing region while maintaining the highest level of customer service. In 2012 Scott accepted a new role, Executive Vice President of Professional Services where he supported a team of engineers and project managers on a national and a global scale. During Scott’s tenure as the services leader, he focused on delivering best of breed solutions in every region of the country. These efforts were recognized in the form double-digit annual revenue growth, along with numerous Customer Service awards by industry OEM leaders such as Cisco and Hewlett Packard. In August of 2017 Scott accepted his current position as NWN’s EVP of Sales and Marketing.
