Our Leadership

Jim Sullivan

Jim Sullivan, CEO

Jim Sullivan is President and CEO of NWN. With more than 30 years of enterprise technology industry experience, he has a track record of scaling both emerging and established companies for rapid global growth.

As President of Actifio from February 2011 until May 2019, Jim helped drive this copy data management software pioneer to a unicorn valuation of $1.3 billion, more than 3,500 global customers and a 50% CAGR. He co-developed the company’s strategy and led sales, presales, channels, and OEM distribution, from pre-revenue to achieving high growth, positive cash flow and global operations.

Prior to Actifio, Jim served as the President of enterprise storage technology provider XIV, responsible for the company’s business direction and go-to-market model, including sales, marketing, and global services operations. After XIV was acquired by IBM in 2008, he spent three years as Vice President of IBM Storage, generating more than $1 billion in total sales.

He spent six years as CEO of CentrePath Network, and prior to that spent 12 years helping to grow EMC Corporation from $80 million to more $10 billion in annual global sales, serving in several senior management positions culminating in Senior Vice President of Sales. Jim served on the boards of AppIQ until its acquisition by HP in 2005, and Diligent, a deduplication software pioneer acquired by IBM. He currently serves as chairman of the board of Weka.io, maker of a software-defined file system, and is a board member of Titus Software, a Blackstone portfolio company. He is active as a member of YPO (Young Presidents’ Organization), and with his Alma Mater, Boston College.

Jack Lodge, EVP - Customer Success

Jack lodge is Executive Vice President of Customer Success for NWN, leading the Engineering, Technology Operations, Customer Success Desk and Customer Experience organizations.  With more than 25 years of leadership experience in technology and managed service solutions, Jack brings a proven record of successfully growing and scaling technology companies for private equity and venture investors.

Prior to NWN, Jack was President of Global Capacity, a data connectivity marketplace platform that he helped grow from $50M to $250M before the Company’s acquisition by GTT Communications (NYSE:GTT).  Prior to Global Capacity, Jack held leadership positions at CentrePath, GiantLoop, Nortel Networks, Bay Networks and Wellfleet Communications.  Jack is also a Co-Founder and Board Member of Correct Dose, Inc., a consumer healthcare business specializing in single dose packaging of liquid over the counter pediatric medications.

Jack received a Bachelor of Arts degree – BA from the College of the Holy Cross, and a Masters of Business Administration – MBA from Northeastern University.

Andrew Gilman is the Vice President of Marketing responsible for transforming NWN’s Company Branding and Storytelling, Corporate Communications, Press and Analyst Relations, Demand-Generation, Field Marketing and Digital Marketing functions. 

Andrew brings over 15 years leading successful go-to-market (GTM) organizations for venture-backed, and publicly traded (B2B) technology companies, most recently as the Chief Customer Officer for Immuta - a pioneer in data governance for AI - where he led global sales and marketing resulting in their $20M series B. Prior to Immuta, he held several executive positions at Actifio including General Manager for their SaaS and Software portfolio, and as a founding member of the marketing team where he built and operated the demand generation, inside sales, corporate and channel marketing teams globally.  

Before Actifio, Andrew led solutions marketing for EqualLogic (acquired by Dell for $1.4B). Prior to Dell, he held a variety of product marketing leadership roles at EMC including leading marketing for the mid-range storage software portfolio, after graduating from EMC’s Marketing Leadership Development Program (MLDP). He frequently contributes articles to industry publications, can be found speaking at industry events and has served as an advisor to emerging technology startups.  Andrew earned a B.S. in Business Administration from the Boston University School of Management, and lives outside of Boston with his wife, son and daughter.

Scott Pintsopoulos, EVP - Sales

Scott Pintsopoulos is NWN’s Executive Vice President of Sales. A veteran leader with over 26 years of industry experience, Scott is responsible for setting the strategy, vision, and execution of NWN’s Sales, Business Development, Marketing, and Vendor Relations initiatives. Scott joined NWN in October of 2009 as the Regional VP of the Northeast Region where he led Sales, Engineering, Finance and Operations. Under his direction, the region significantly outpaced the industry growth metrics, and the team was consistently recognized as a top performing region while maintaining the highest level of customer service.

In 2012 Scott accepted a new role, Executive Vice President of Professional Services where he supported a team of engineers and project managers on a national and a global scale. During Scott’s tenure as the services leader, he focused on delivering best of breed solutions in every region of the country. These efforts were recognized in the form double-digit annual revenue growth, along with numerous Customer Service awards by industry OEM leaders such as Cisco and Hewlett Packard. In August of 2017 Scott accepted his current position as NWN’s EVP of Sales and Marketing.

Scott Pintsopoulos is NWN’s Executive Vice President of Sales. Erin Jordan, Director of HR

Erin is the Director of Human Resources at NWN. She oversees the company’s HR teams across all ten of NWN’s offices across the nation. She works closely with employees, managers, and executive team members to ensure that the needs of our customers are met.

Based in Raleigh, Erin has had a front-row seat to how IT solutions providers are helping solve business problems on a daily basis. She has spent her career at NWN. She started as a Human Resources and Sales Assistant and over the last 12 years has worked her way up the ranks to become the Director of Human Resources in 2012.

Erin earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from North Carolina State University Poole College of Management, and holds a PHR certification.

Marc received a Bachelor of Science degree – BS in Economics from the United States Military Academy at West Point, an M.A. in International Studies from St. Mary’s University, and a Master of Business Administration – MBA from Harvard Business School.

Matt Curran, CFO

Matt Curran is the Chief Financial Officer for NWN. Matt is responsible for NWN’s Corporate Finance team including all financial and legal matters, Order to Cash functions, Human Resources, and Information Technology.

Prior to joining NWN, Matt was the CFO, Partner and Board Member at P&B Intermodal Services, a transportation equipment provider. Previously Curran was Founder and Executive Director of The 33 Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping spinal cord injury patients maximize recovery potential. He held finance leadership roles at Global Capacity, PerkinElmer and Iron Mountain Digital after beginning his corporate career at EMC. Curran holds a Master’s in Accounting from Bentley College and both MBA and undergraduate degrees from Providence College.
