UNC Healthcare, in Chapel Hill, NC, had previously designed their wireless network to provide access to data only. As the health care system began to add new services to their wireless network, they found that their original design was not sufficient to handle the additional services. Realizing that advances in wireless technology now allow wireless networks to handle not only data, but also communications and location services, UNC Healthcare called NWN Corporation.
