To drive Maryland's initiative to end childhood hunger , Maryland Family Investment Administration (FIA), Maryland State Department of Education-School and Community Nutrition Programs Branch (MSDE-SCNPB), Montgomery County Public Schools commissioned NWN's Smart Government group to undertake a ground-breaking proof of concept. The solution would both improve children's access to free meals at school and improve families' access to nutritional support at home.
